Embroidery tuition and commissions
I'm a professional embroidery artist and teacher specialising in historical embroidery and the traditional arts. With a focus on preserving and sharing these time-honored techniques, I offer expert instruction and custom embroidery services to clients seeking to add a touch of elegance and authenticity to their projects.
In 2023, I was honoured to be part of the Embroidery Studio team at the Royal School of Needlework, working on a number of items for the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, including The Queen’s Robe of Estate, the Anointing Screen, Chairs of State and the Stole Royal.
Throughout the year I am teaching in various places in the UK and abroad. All the classes are listed here so you can make a plan to join me....
I am lucky to live and work in a beautiful seaside location in North Somerset, South West England, UK. I work from a space with a seaview....creating the classes and samples for future classes.
Studying with the Kings Foundation School of Traditional Arts, I'm working on a research degree which uses the methodology of artistic practice as research. This research is looking at the use of geometry and associated drafting skills to create embroidery art for the future.....
